The Terrablendz Story

Hey there my name is Shane Boon, and welcome to The Terrablendz story.

The Terrablendz story began in 2023, but my love for Australian natives goes way back. It all started in 2010 when I was deployed to Darwin with the Australian Army. That’s where I first encountered edible Australian plants. It was part of an ongoing discussion on bush survival and bush craft, and I was hooked. Ever since, I’ve been fascinated by native plants, especially the ones you can eat.

The Beginnings

When I finished my military service, I knew I wanted to turn this passion into something bigger. So, Terrablendz was born—a place where you can explore the amazing flavours of Aussie native herbs, seasonings, teas, and rubs. We’re all about showcasing the unique tastes of Saltbush, Tasmanian Pepperberry, Aniseed myrtle, and Lemon Myrtle, with more to come.

Supporting Aussie farmers is a big part of what we do. I love knowing that our products come from Australian growers who care for our land. It’s all about making a positive impact—both for the environment and for the communities that grow these plants.

Study

With a diploma in Science (Environment & Sustainability) from USQ, I bring a solid background in environmental care to our business. We’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint and supporting a sustainable future. It’s a small step, but every little bit helps!
